01 // Registration & Passes
How do I register for events?
1. Create an account using the 'Login' button.
2. Go to 'Buy Tickets' and purchase a Base Pass (Cyber Entry or Nexus Prime).
3. Once your pass is active, browse 'Events' and add your desired competitions to your pass.
Can I enter without a pass?
No. Entry to the NIFT campus during Spectrum is restricted to pass holders only. You must have at least a Cyber Entry pass or a specific event ticket (like Vogue Gala) to enter.
Is the Fashion Show included in the pass?
No. The Vogue Gala (Fashion Show) requires a separate registration. There are two types:
1. Participant Team: ₹2500 per team (8-12 members).
2. Audience: ₹199 per person.
Can NIFT students participate for free?
Yes! NIFT students must register using their official `@nift.ac.in` email address to unlock the "Nexus Prime (NIFT)" pass for free. However, they may still need to pay for specific premium add-ons or team registrations if applicable.
Can I upgrade my pass later?
Yes. If you bought a Cyber Entry pass, you can upgrade to Nexus Prime by paying the difference (₹200) via your profile dashboard.
02 // Events & Competitions
How do I register a team for group events?
The team leader must purchase the pass and add the event. Once registered, go to "Squad Uplink" in the sidebar or profile to add the Spectrum IDs of your teammates.
What are the rules for the Fashion Show?
Teams must have 8-12 members. The theme is 'Vibhram' (Illusion/Distortion). Time limit is 10 minutes. Detailed rulebook is available on the Fashion Show page.
Are there cash prizes?
Yes, major flagship events like Vogue Gala, Battle of Bands, and Valorant have significant cash prize pools. Check individual event cards for prize details.
Can I participate in multiple events?
Yes, provided the timings do not clash. Please check the schedule page before registering for overlapping events.
Do I need to bring my own equipment?
For gaming events (Valorant/BGMI), basic peripherals are provided, but you are allowed to bring your own mouse/keyboard. For Battle of Bands, a standard drum kit is provided; please bring your own guitars/processors.
03 // Payments & Finance
My payment is still "Pending".
Payments are verified manually by our finance team to ensure security. This usually takes 2-4 hours. If it takes longer than 24 hours, please use the 'Report Issue' button in your profile.
Can I get a refund?
All ticket sales are final. Refunds are only processed if an event is cancelled by the organizers. In case of accidental double payment, contact the technical head immediately with transaction proof.
Which payment modes are accepted?
We accept payments via UPI (GPay, PhonePe, Paytm) primarily. You must upload the transaction screenshot and enter the UTR number for verification.
I forgot to upload the screenshot!
Don't worry. Your registration will remain pending. Contact the registration desk or email us at spectrum@nift.ac.in with your Spectrum ID and the payment proof to manually verify it.
04 // Logistics & Venue
Is accommodation provided?
Accommodation is available for outstation participants on a first-come, first-served basis within the NIFT Campus or partnered hostels. Charges apply separately and must be booked in advance.
How to reach NIFT Jodhpur?
We are located at Karwar, Jodhpur. It is approximately 20km from the Jodhpur Railway Station. Pre-paid taxis and Auto-rickshaws are readily available from the station and airport.
Is there parking available?
Yes, limited parking is available for visitors near the main gate. Please follow the security personnel's instructions.
Are food stalls available?
Yes, a variety of food stalls serving snacks, beverages, and meals will be set up within the festival grounds. Cash and UPI are both accepted.
05 // Technical Issues
I forgot my password.
Click on the 'Forgot Password?' link on the login screen. A reset link will be sent to your registered email address.
Where is my Spectrum ID?
Your Spectrum ID (e.g., SPEC-AB123) is visible on your profile card and digital ticket once you log in. You must show this ID at the entrance.
The QR code isn't scanning.
Try increasing your phone brightness. If it still doesn't work, click the "Report Anomaly" or "QR Error" button on the payment page to switch to a backup UPI ID.
